Dear Sir,
I, Mohammad Siam, a resident of Rupnagar neighborhood in Uttara, am writing this letter on behalf of the people of Utara to draw your kind attention to the fact that there is no park for children in this part of the city. It is important to mention that almost 15 lac people live in our area. Apart from a few cafë and restaurants, there is no suitable place for the residents to visit during spare time or on the weekends. Needless to mention, there is no recreational park for the children either. Although the elderly people sometimes visit a small park near 'sector four", it is in no way suitable for little children. As a result, they are occupied with TV and computer games in the confinement of their apartments. Such activities could affect their mental and physical wellbeing. Had there been a children's park in Uttara, children could have enjoyeda great time amid natural beauties and greeneries.


I, therefore, request you to take the proper initiatives to set up a children's park at a suitable location in Uttara.
